Faith in action

We as followers of Christ know that faith without action is dead. We need to keep our faith alive.
Listen, what is God saying to you?
How can we have faith if we do not act.
Faith is an action word!

God answers prayer

Today was amazing! Went to a small home town church today and met some great people. The pastor read the letter I received from Pastor Tom at Hamilton Reformed Church from the pulpit and even had me talk! Him and his wife took me to lunch after coffee hour once church was over! Then they brought me to their home and let me shower and do a load of laundry! If that's not enough I hadn't planned on walking much today as I needed a day of rest. So God blessed me by having them drive me 35 miles to Hudson Lake.
I'm sleeping on the beach having a camp fire!
God is awesome!

  1. Praising God that you had a great day! I work with your dad @rp and he was telling me about your experience and how you were hoping for a good visit at the church you were going to go to today. I will keep praying for you and stay strong for Jesus! He WILL BLESS you! Have a good, safe night!

  2. Hope you stayed warm last night! It was a chilly one. At least you were fed and clean! Happy Monday.

  3. What you are doing is truly amazing. I am inspired by your faith. At my in-laws we have been watching the Not a Fan series weekly and I find it really uplifting to see someone who truly is being a follower of God and not just a fan. I remember hearing the bible stories of Jesus calling people to drop everything and follow and that is what you did and it is amazing (I know no other world to describe it :) ) I never really understood how someone could have so much faith and to do just that, To listen and to obey even though it seems outlandish to walk all the way to DC. You may not realize this, and maybe you do but you are teaching so much by your actions and I pray that God continues to use you to inspire others to become followers of Christ and not just fans. You are a role model for what a true follower is and it is inspiring. It is also so refreshing and amazing to see how God is providing for you when he said he would. Sometimes we are scared and do not have the faith that all will be ok as long as we follow him. I really thank you for doing this and for blogging it as you go. It is nice to have a real life example of someone who is living by faith that everything will be ok and that God will provide for you. I will continue to pray for you and your safe journey!!

    1. I read that book. It is awesome.
Thank you so much for the kind words. They mean so much to me. I started to tear up. God is truly doing something here and it has nothing to do with me. Yes he may be using me right now but he is using you too.
He is using you to encourage me and help me to keep going. This comment is the reason God has me doing this. There is so much more to come. Hang on for the ride of you life!
I pray daily for everyone who comments. They really are a saving grace. To me they are words from God.

God there. Your church is small but our God is so big. Church size does not matter, its what we do that matters! Keep being Jesus like you were to me and God will use you!
