Faith in action

We as followers of Christ know that faith without action is dead. We need to keep our faith alive.
Listen, what is God saying to you?
How can we have faith if we do not act.
Faith is an action word!

Merry Christmas

Lets not forget, or neglect to acknowledge what Christmas is about. It's not about gifts or stockings or Santa Clause or elves. It's not about snow or Christmas trees or watching Home Alone or Charlie Brown. It's not about tensile or lights or singing Christmas Carols. It's not about Scrooge or the Grinch. It's not about party's or food. It's not even about family or friends. It's not about giving to the needy or helping out in a soup kitchen it's not about Toys for Tots or the Salvation Army bell ringer. It's not about peppermint stick ice cream or Christmas cookies, snowmen, gingerbread houses or sprinkles.

BUT it is about Gods Love, Gods Grace, Gods mercy, peace on Earth through Christ, our savior from sin, its about our redeemer, our King of Kings and Lord of Lords, our friend our father. Its about the biggest and best gift anyone could ever receive. This gift wasn't wrapped in paper but cloth. This gift wasn't laying under a tree but in hay, this gift wasn't surrounded by friends and family but sheep and cows. This gift wasn't given by Santa or mom or dad or grandma or grandpa not aunt or uncle or brother or sister. This gift was given by God! This gift is Jesus Christ! That is what Christmas is. A celebration .
Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus. Christmas was and is and always will be about Jesus Christ.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
