Standing up for Jesus

Yesterday my daughter came home from school and shared this story with us.
She had a substitute teacher and they were learning about different languages and races. The sub said that there has always been different languages and races. Dallas, my 10 year old 5th grader raised her hand and said that wasn't true. The sub ask what she meant. She said well in Genesis 11 it says that when the Tower of Babel fell that is when God created different languages. The sub said she was wrong and that we can not believe the bible! Mind you this is to a 5 th grade class!
She got upset along with other kids in her class. She went out into the hall way and sat down by her locker. But that's not all.
She felt she should take her bible to school that day for some reason so she did. While at her locker she looked up Genesis 11
And highlighted it, brought it into the class and gave her bible to the the sub!
Well apparently the word got out and we got phone calls that night from a few teachers!
They said that they were so proud of Dallas and that the issue was being assessed.
Wow, I am so proud of her!
How many of us would do that?
My 10 year old daughter showed me, my family, her friends and school teachers and a non believer what a true Christian is called to do!
Amazing!
