Faith in action

We as followers of Christ know that faith without action is dead. We need to keep our faith alive.
Listen, what is God saying to you?
How can we have faith if we do not act.
Faith is an action word!

Last night away

Well, its my last night with Gary and Donna. They have been like grandparents to me while I was in DC. It was such a blessing to have them in my life.
DC is a powerful place, but we need not to forget that the power of man is not what we need, we need the power of God.
Matthew 19:26 says, "For with man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible." I believe this verse fits in today, with what America is going through. We try to trust in ourselves, other men and women to change the country. We hope for change, we pray for the "right" person to get into office. But, brothers and sisters in Christ we know that without Jesus Christ in the office we are destined for failure. Billy Graham him self could be president, but without God our nation is lost. One man, no matter how godly or ungodly he is will change what we have allowed to happen to America. We need to stop trusting in others for Hope and Change and pray to God who is the Hope for change. We need to come before Christ and plead with him to save us and forgive us as a nation for what we have done. This is not about politics or religion this is about God. No human effort can save our nation only an act of God can save this nation. We as followers of Jesus Christ no matter how young or old need to get on our knees and pray. We need to go be Jesus to this world. We need to love. Love is not a feeling love is an action.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world he GAVE is one and only son. He GAVE, he did hope for, he didn't think about it, he didn't feel like it, he GAVE. Gave is an action word, it means to give something. God did not feel warm and fuzzy about us that he gave or God did not have butterflies in his stomach so he gave. No, he gave, he loved us.
God showed us love by giving us his one and only son and Christ loved us so much he gave his own life.
Are we willing to love for Christ?
