Faith in action

We as followers of Christ know that faith without action is dead. We need to keep our faith alive.
Listen, what is God saying to you?
How can we have faith if we do not act.
Faith is an action word!

Rainy Day in Maryland

It rained almost all day today! More of a light drizzle until about 4:30 then it down poured, but God gave me a ride into town just before it came down! Go God. His timing is always perfect.
I am at a Days Inn in Frostburg, Maryland. Spent more money on the room than I wanted but it was raining like crazy and all the cheap motels were full.
My legs were killing me today, up hill then back down the hill, up a hill then back down the hill all day long. I think I climbed 3 official mountains today. Meadow Mountain, Little Mt. Savage and Big Mt. Savage. I was glad there was no, Even Bigger Mt. Savage!
I was blessed this morning to have a couple great conversations with a couple at the restaurant I had breakfast at this morning and with a pastor at the same restaurant.
I learned today that no matter the situation we have to praise God. Not for what is going on in our life but for how Good he is! It was raining and I was tired and wanted to rest but I couldn't so I put on some music and started singing, out loud, walking down the road. A song came on that really hit me. I don't know the name of it right now, but as I was singing and really digging into what the song meant the sky broke open with blue sky and sun! It was amazing. You feel so close to God in the mountains. The clouds are literally closer to you, 3000 feet closer, and you can tell too. It is such a cool feeling.
Sometimes it feels like you can reach out and grab them.
Today was the first time I have ever had to stand firm in what I believe to be true about Jesus. It was kinda weird. But I totally disagreed with this person on a matter concerning Jesus being the only way to God. I believe he is the only way, this person believed otherwise.
It is really cool being on the first national highway in America. There are a lot of cool old things to see. Old bridges, trails, graves pretty neat stuff.
The Mountain sunsets are so beautiful! Tonights had clouds by the sun that looked outlined with gold. There is something about the mountains I love. Walking through is so much different than riding through, trust me.
I was hoping to see a bear today. The guy I talked with this morning said they had seen one as they were coming in, but I didnt see any. I did see a HUGE deer though, biggest I had ever seen, and it was a doe! I walked up on it in the mountains this afternoon. It was like 30 yards away.
