Well I woke up this morning and it is raining out :( It should be done by noon. I am going to hang here at the church until 10 then head to get some food. Hopfully by the time I am done the rain will have stopped. I have gear but its just better not being wet. Please pray for some more amazing connections with another church or two today. There is a church along the way today I would love to talk with. Just to chat not to stay at tonight. I just feel the Spirit telling me to talk with that church. I mean come on the have a Walk-A-Thon this weekend!
Thank you all for your prayers they are very very noticed! God is showing me daily that my plan just might not be the same as his! He surprises me daily with blessings I even have a hard time excepting! I just cant believe how he is working through so many different people.
I don't know how to say it except that I am ashamed to admit that I had pre conceived notions about "other" churches. I can no longer say that. God is using so many different denominations to bless me it is amazing! Reformed, Christian Reformed, Non-Denominational, Mennonite, Congregational and Methodist! We truly are one body in Christ! All these churches have shown me the love of Jesus so much it is overwhelming some days.
I pray that our nation starts being Jesus like these people along my path have been.
I admit, I went into this thinking that God was going to use me to be Jesus to others, and I know he has but I think I have been shown the love of Jesus more than I have shown it my self.
This gives me hope that God will be back in our nation. God will fix what is broken and Jesus is the answer to fixing our nation. We are the United States of America, the most powerful nation on the planet. With out God we wont be for long. Our leaders need to know that our country needs Christ. God will not show grace or mercy on our nation if we push him away. Our nation was formed in Christ, how do you think a nation that was not a nation became the most powerful nation? Not by people or government but by the grace and mercy of God. We need to remember that.

ReplyDeleteJohn i agree with Linda, we the people need to open our eyes and read a few time on the things you have shared with us. but most importantly i believe they need to open there ears and hear what you have shared. i pray you are reaching people thru your blog who don't even know you and share with others, just like people back in Jesus day when the only way we could share with is by word of mouth and believe in Jesus and believe in you.
