Faith in action

We as followers of Christ know that faith without action is dead. We need to keep our faith alive.
Listen, what is God saying to you?
How can we have faith if we do not act.
Faith is an action word!

Opportunities at large

Today God opened up an opportunity to be Jesus to someone today. The question is did I take it? There is a homeless man I see a lot in Holland. He looks like Santa, he has a long white beard. I saw him today sitting at a picnic table at Dennys. As I drove by God said go buy that man lunch. So I did. I went in and got lunch to go. A burger, fries and a coke. I walked up to him and said you looked hungry and God asked me to give this to you. He was shocked. He asked, is this for me I said yes then he asked why. I said I don't know God just asked me to. He thanked me and I left. I got to my car and God said go sit with him! So, I did. I asked if if was ok. He said yes. It is amazing what you can learn in five min. From a man. God showed me more than I expected that day. He had me see that a homeless man that looks like he does is human too. They deserve the love of Jesus no more or no less than I do. Calvin too was made in the image of God! I did not leave my house today thinking I would meet a homeless man named Calvin and buy him lunch.
The point, never underestimate what God will ask of you and be willing to listen and act.
That moment changed my life forever. I pray I get to buy Calvin lunch again someday!
